These tongue and groove planks are created using the the wood of Eastern red cedar trees that are harvested in Central Texas. The colors are completely natural and the wood has not been treated in any way. These could be used for a wide range of crafts and home improvement projects.
Each of the planks measures 3-1/2 inches wide and 3/4 of an inch thick. The tongue portion of each piece has been milled differently on each side of the board. This allows them to be assembled in your choice of three different joint patterns (V-joint, nickel joint and square edge). Each of these joint patterns are shown in the listing photos.
The lengths and number of planks included with each order will vary depending on the option selected. All lengths noted below are +/- 1/16 of an inch.
The first option is suited for those wishing to assemble the planks with staggered seams. Each of these orders will include 11 pieces that are cut to four different lengths. When assembled as shown in the listing photograph, the planks create a surface that is a little more than 4 square feet. The number and length of the pieces included with each of these orders will be:
4 pieces @ 24"
1 piece @ 16"
2 pieces @ 12"
4 pieces @ 8"
The other option available at check-out will provide 9 boards measuring 24 inches in length. This creates a surface that is 5.25 square feet when assembled as shown in the listing photograph.
The boards shown in the listing photographs are representative of all available material, however the wood used to fill a given order will display a unique variety of patterns and colors. Please contact us if you are interested in larger quantities or boards of a different length. We would be happy to create a listing that meets your specifications.
