Desert rose plants are succulents best known for their unusual forms and beautiful blooms. These bonsai-like plants are a great choice for those looking to add variety to their plant collection.
Desert rose requires bright indirect light, well draining soil and warm temperatures to thrive. The trunks of the plants swell to hold water to nourish them during dry periods. During summer, these plants should be watered frequently to support their growth. During winter, they should be treated like cacti, with watering scaled back to once every two weeks. These tropical plants will die if exposed to frost or freezing temperatures.
By far the largest barrier to their success is prolonged wet soil. To help prevent related issues, 1/3 to 1/2 of the potting mix volume should consist of coarse sand or a similar material.
Each order will contain TWO of the plants shown in the listing photos. All plants being offered are approximately 8 inches tall and have well developed roots.
These will be shipped bare root, without soil or pots. It is highly likely that the plants will lose their leaves while in transit, however these will be replaced with new leaves very quickly.
Shipping via Priority mail to any address within the contiguous United States is included in the listing price. We cannot ship these plants to destinations outside of this area.

Conditions of return
Buyers are responsible for return shipping costs. If the item is not returned in its original condition, the buyer is responsible for any loss in value.
