These are some of the most unusual and unique wood slices you will ever find, and were cut from a very old and well preserved red cedar stump. The interesting shapes are the result of roots that stemmed from the lowest portions of the trunk.
Though these six pieces do not resemble the wood of fresh red cedar, they are completely natural and have not been treated in any way. The tree providing the wood died decades ago and over time it has aged to a deep and rich brownish-red tone.
The pieces in this listing are between approximately 1/8 and 1/4 of an inch (4 and 7 mm) thick and were cut as thin as possible, while ensuring they remained in tact. The listing photos show the six slices that are included.

Unfortunately, we lack the certifications required by the California Department Of Agriculture that would allow us to ship live plants to those residing in the state of California.
