The 10 pieces of vintage hardware in this listing were found alongside a railroad line in Central Texas that is no longer in use. Relatively rare, these rail clips were once used to fasten the steel rail to the railroad ties. The fasteners are very sturdy and could absorb the shock produced by a passing locomotive.
Each clip has measurements of approximately 4 X 4 X 2 inches and weighs over 1-1/2 pounds.
The rustic and weathered clips were washed after being collected.
Shipping to any address within the United States via USPS Priority Mail is included in the listing price. Transportation charges to an address outside of the US will be adjusted to equal shipping the material using a medium USPS Priority Mail flat rate box.
