Dinosaur Teeth, Bone and More! Various Cretaceous Period Fossils

Sorry, this item has sold.

These fossils are more than 66 million years old and were collected in the North Sulphur River located in Texas. This is a great assortment that would be appreciated by anyone interested in Dinosaurs or Earth's early history.

The 26 pieces being offered are shown in the listing photos and include 2 mosasaur teeth, 3 shark teeth, 3 other teeth or claws, 8 bone fragments and 10 bacculite shell pieces.

Though not true dinosaurs, mosasaurs were large marine reptiles growing to 50 feet in length. They had starring roles in the last two Jurassic Park movies.

Bacculites were marine mollusks that had long cone-like shells. The lines that are visible on the sides of the fossilized bacculite shells are called "septa". They mark where the animal moved up into a larger new section, walling off the old section of the shell.
