These small wooden mushrooms are handcrafted from red cedar wood. When carved, the patterns created by the deep red heartwood ensures that no matter how many are made, each one will be unique. These natural looking pieces would be a great addition to a terrarium, fairy garden, planter or outdoor garden bed.
The mushroom tops are permanently joined to the stalks by a metal rod that is hidden within each piece. To assist in anchoring and positioning the mushrooms, stainless steel stakes are included with the set and can be inserted into the pre-drilled holes located at the bottom of each stalk. All surfaces are coated with pure tung oil, a natural and non-toxic preservative that will ensure the pieces last for years to come.
These are offered in sets containing three mushrooms each. Those shown in the listing photos are representative of what will be included with each order, however the actual pieces that ship will have their own unique variations. All mushrooms will have an overall height between 5 and 7 inches (13 and 18 cm), with the caps being between 1 and 2 inches (2.50 and 5 cm).
