Many projects that involve the use of acorns are time consuming, and no one wants to invest all of that effort into something that will only last a season or two. Using these acorns is one way to help ensure that your piece can be enjoyed for years to come.
After being collected directly from the branches of oak trees in September of 2019, these acorns were baked for several hours to sterilize and dry them. They were then coated with several layers of clear enamel to provide a glossy finish, help keep their caps in place as well as preserve and protect them.
Since these nuts were harvested prior to them reaching maturity, they do not display the insect damage and holes that are found in the vast majority of acorns available for crafting purposes.
Each order will contain three full cups of acorns, including clusters having 2 to 4 naturally attached acorns, and are available in your choice of two sizes.
Large acorns will measure between 3/4 and 1 inch in length with an average order containing approximately 170 pieces.
Small acorns will have lengths of 1/2 to 3/4 inch with approximately 240 pieces being included with each order.
The final listing photo shows the two sizes in a side-by-side comparison.

Unfortunately, we lack the certifications required by the California Department Of Agriculture that would allow us to ship live plants to those residing in the state of California.
