This large oyster shell cluster was found on the Texas coast. After being scrubbed and washed with fresh water it was boiled for two hours.
The cluster is primarily gray in color with areas of white and beige. This piece measures approximately 9 X 7 X 5 inches and weighs just over two pounds.
The preparation steps mentioned above ensure the piece is safe for aquarium use. The crescent shape makes it especially attractive for displaying outside of an aquarium as well.
