The Mexican Flame Vine is a fast growing plant that can reach a size of 12 x 2 feet in a single season. The vine produces a multitude of orange flowers that are irresistible to butterflies (including monarchs) and hummingbirds.
Plants representative of all that are available can be seen in the first, third and fourth listing photographs. All are a minimum of a foot in length and will be shipped in their 3 quart pots with a portion of their soil.
Although typically an annual in zones 8 and below that blooms summer through fall, the Mexican Flame Vine is typically an evergreen perennial that will bloom all year long in zones 9 and 10. Plant them in well draining soil and in an area that receives light late afternoon shade. Provide a structure for them to climb and, for the most flowers, water when the soil is dry.
Shipping to any location within the United States with the exception of those in California or Hawaii is included in the listing prices. We cannot ship these plants to destinations within the states of California, Hawaii or to the US island republics. please contact me prior to ordering if the destination is on Alaska as additional transportation charges will apply. USPS Ground or Federal Express Home Delivery will be used to transport the plants.
