These succulents that have thorns and leaves that grow from the corners of their triangular shaped stems. Reaching a height of over 8 feet, they typically branch and take on a tree-like form.
There are only a few requirements to grow a healthy and happy E. trigona. It must be planted in a container and soil that drains very well. Bright indirect light (4-6 hours per day) is important, however direct sunlight will scorch the plant. Soil should not be allowed to become completely dry, keeping in mind that they will rot if exposed to soggy soil. Only water when the top few inches of soil has dried. These plants will not survive freezing temperatures and do best when kept above 50 degrees.
PLEASE NOTE: We do not use heat packs and we are not responsible for damage related to the plants being exposed to cold temperatures.
