The bismuth pieces in this ten piece set display a variety of natural crystal structures and metallic colors. This is a great opportunity to obtain a larger number of pieces for display or for use as part of a craft project.
Several sides of the exact pieces being made available can be seen in the listing photographs. It is worth noting that the colors displayed by bismuth crystals may change depending on the viewing angle. All of these formed within the hollow cavities of geodes.
A portion of the geode wall was left in place for three of the specimens to serve as a base. The points where the balance of the crystals were once attached to the walls have been smoothed. The set has a combined weight of 14 ounces with the largest two pieces weighing approximately 4.5 ounces each. The lightest crystal weighs 1/3 of an ounce and measures 1-1/2 x 5/8 x 3/8 inches.
