This interesting natural piece of wood is a portion of a very old cedar tree that once grew on my Central Texas ranch. It would look great if used for decorative purposes or could serve as a mounting surface for plants such as tillandsia or staghorn ferns.
The wood has been washed and lightly scrubbed to remove any loose material and a base was created by making a diagonal cut at one end. There are several natural cavities and some are partially connected to each other within the piece.
When positioned as shown in the first, second and last listing photographs, the piece stands 16 inches tall and measures 32-1/2 inches from end to end. It is 9-1/2 x 8-1/2 inches at the widest point and has a weight of 6 pounds, 4 ounces.
