Collected from various locations across Central Texas, these petrified wood pieces have a combined weight of 28-1/2 pounds. A variety of colors and textures can be found in this 35 piece set that is suitable for general display, crafting or enhancing a landscape project.
These are the fossilized remains of trees that lived between 40 and 50 million years ago and the listing photos show two sides of the exact specimens that will be shipped. The smallest piece weighs slightly over 8 ounces and measures 4.1 x 2.7 x 1 inches. The largest is 6.4 x 3.2 x 1.5 inches and has a weight of 1 pound, 3 ounces. When packaged, the set fills a Large USPS Flat Rate Box. All were washed after being collected but are otherwise as they were found.
