The smooth glass fragments in this listing have a frosted surface and a color I would describe as being a light shade of aquamarine. This versatile material could be used in an endless variety of projects and crafts. I have used this glass as vase filler, as a top dressing in planters and in an aquarium.
These pieces were created by machine tumbling 1/2 inch thick reclaimed material and they are much more substantial when compared to most other tumbled glass. No sharp edges remain, however portion of the pieces will be fractured internally (some of these produce a rainbow of colors when sunlight hits them just right).
There are two different lots of this glass being made available, with the third and fourth listing photos showing the exact pieces contained in each.
One set of glass contains 85 pieces that have a combined weight of five pounds and a volume of approximately 6-1/2 cups.
The larger set weighs ten pounds and contains 175 pieces having a volume of approximately 12-1/2 cups.
