This petrified wood specimen was preserved in remarkable detail and was collected from an East Texas location. It is a larger display piece that is visually stunning.
This fossilized tree section is between 40 and 50 million years old and was pressure washed after being collected. The exterior is deeply textured and beige with areas of reddish brown. The interior is predominantly a lighter color and is visible along one full side as well as in two locations on the opposite side and at each end.
The specimen measures 8-3/4 X 5 inches and is up to 3 inches thick. It has a weight of 3 pounds, 6.75 ounces.
Shipping to any address within the contiguous United States is included in the listing price. Please contact me if the destination is within the states of Hawaii, Alaska or one of the US island territories as additional transportation charges may apply.
