This petrified wood was preserved in great detail and was collected from a spot in East Texas. The piece has a high silica content and rich coloration making it an excellent display specimen. It would also be good potential candidate for slabbing.
This fossilized tree section is between 40 and 50 million years old and was washed and scrubbed after being collected.
The piece has a length of 11-3/4 inches, a width of 5 inches and it is up to 4 inches thick. It weighs 10 pounds, 3 ounces.
Shipping to any address within the United States via USPS is included in the listing price.
