Cleistocactus winteri, better known as Golden Rat Tail, is a fast growing cactus that is very easy to keep happy and healthy. These are often grown in hanging baskets as their stems will typically reach a length of 3 feet.
The listing photos show 4 inch containers that each contain three separate and well rooted plants measuring between 6 and 8 inches in length. The contents of one or two of these or similar pots (3 or 6 plants) will be included with each order. They will be shipped with very little soil and without their pots.
Plant these in standard cactus soil and provide them with plenty of bright filtered sunlight. Water once the soil has completely dried between spring and fall and only once every 3 weeks during winter. Although they may survive brief exposure to freezing temperatures, it is best to protect them from anything below 40 degrees Fahrenheit.
We cannot ship these cacti to destinations within the states of California, Hawaii or to the US island territories. Shipping to all other US destinations is included in the listing prices.

Unfortunately, we lack the certifications required by the California Department Of Agriculture that would allow us to ship live plants to those residing in the state of California.
