Weeping Yucca, 2 or 4 Live Yucca Recurvifolia - Free US Shipping

$25.00

The weeping yucca (Yucca recurvifolia) is also known as soft leaf yucca and curveleaf yucca. These plants are native to the southeastern United States and are extremely hardy. They grow well in USDA zones 7 - 10 and will survive temperatures as low as 0 degrees Fahrenheit. Their long draping leaves and large bloom stalks make them eye-catching additions to the landscape.

Your choice of two or four plants will be included with each order and examples of the plants being offered can be seen in photos 2 through 5. They are shown growing in 1 gallon containers, with all standing 7 to 10 inches above the soil. These were started from the rhizomes of the mother plant shown in the first listing photograph. The plants will ship without soil or pots.

Weeping yuccas grow fairly quickly and can easily add 12 inches to their height in a single season as they grow to be five or six feet tall. Mature plants produce a towering bloom stalk in the spring that is covered with large, creamy-yellow flowers. This stalk can extend an additional five feet above the foliage.

These evergreen shrubs are very drought tolerant once established and are deer resistant. They perform best when planted in full sun however they can also be grown in partial shade. They are adaptable to most soil types as long as it is well draining.

PLEASE NOTE: We do not use heat packs and are not responsible for damage related to the plants being exposed to cold temperatures.

We cannot ship these to addresses within the states of California, Hawaii or to any of the US island territories. Contact us prior to ordering if the destination falls within the state of Alaska as additional shipping charges may apply.
