The pieces contained in these sets of natural chalcedony were found in Utah and have a wide variety of colors, shapes and sizes. They range from thin flakes to thick chunks of material and could be used for crafts ranging from wire wrapping to slabbing and polishing.
Each of the four sets is identifiable by the associated letters in the photos. There is one photo showing sets "A" and "B" and two photos showing different sides of the pieces in sets "C" and "D".
Set "A" contains 42 pieces weighing a total of 8 ounces. These are flakes of material that have a maximum thickness ranging from 2 to 12mm.
Set "B" has 33 pieces weighing a total of 1 pound. These are bulkier than the pieces contained in set "A" and are between 11 and 20mm thick.
Set "C" contains 15 pieces weighing a combined 1 pound, 8 ounces. They are up to 83mm (3.25 inches) long and 23mm (.90 inches) thick.
Set "D" contains the largest 10 pieces of material. They have a combined weight of 3 pounds. They range in size from 48 x 35 x 31mm (1.85 x 1.4 x 1.25 inches) to 60 x 56 x 57mm (2.4 x 2.25 x 2.25 inches).
