This unique oak plank was cut from a tree that grew on my Texas ranch. The rough texture, cracks and knot hole combine to create a piece that would be a great foundation for a rustic style project.
The face bears the marks made by the chainsaw that cut the piece and a portion of the back side was planed to remove excess wood. The bark has been removed and the plank has been washed but it is otherwise natural and raw. The piece has been allowed to dry naturally for several months and no further cracking should be expected.
The slab measures 24 inches in length, is 9-1/4 inches wide at one end and has a width of 4-1/4 inches at the opposite end. The thickness at the wide end is 2.20 inches and this tapers to 1/2 of an inch at the narrow end. The piece weights 5pounds, 13 ounces.
Shipping to any address within the contiguous United Sates is included in the listing price. Please contact us prior to purchase if the destination falls within Alaska, Hawaii or the US island territories as additional transportation fees will apply.
