The acorn stems in this listing are very decorative and could be used in a wide range of craft projects.

Harvested in August of 2024 directly from oak trees growing on our Texas ranch, these clusters have never touched the ground and the acorns are free of holes caused by pests. Other than being baked for several hours to dry them thoroughly, they are completely natural and are as they were when collected.

There are two types of acorns and three different stem lengths to choose from.

The stems having larger acorns are those taken from pin oak trees. They are between 1/3 and 1/2 inch in diameter, with the majority being closer to 1/2 inch in size. These acorns have a tendency to be spread along the length of the stems.

Stems with smaller acorns are those of post oak trees. These acorns are between 1/4 and 1/3 inch in diameter, with the majority being closer to 1/3 inch. Acorns tend to cluster near the ends of these stems.


Both types of stems are available in short, medium and long lengths.

Short stems are between 1-1/2 and 2 inches in overall length and have a minimum of 1/2 inch of free stem below the lowest acorn. Those coming from pin oak trees will have 2 to 5 acorns on each stem and those of post oak threes will have 2 to 6 acorns.

Medium have a overall length falling between 2-3/4 and 4 inches and have a minimum of 1 inch of free stem below the lowest acorn. Medium pin oak stems have 2 to 5 acorns and those from post oaks have 2 to 4 acorns.

Long stems will be 5 to 7 inches long and have a minimum of 2 inches of free stem below the lowest acorn. Those from pin oak trees will have 3 to 6 acorns on each stem while those from post oak trees will have 2 to 5 acorns.
