Euphorbia ammak is a great looking succulent that is incredibly easy to grow. Also known as African Candelabra and Desert Cactus, these are well known for their deeply ribbed trunks and arms. The variegated specimens offered in this listing are healthy, well rooted and display eye catching color combinations.
The photographs show several of the individuals that are available and they are representative of all plants being offered in this listing. These ammak stand 8 to 10 inches above the soil and are 2-1/2 to 3 inches in diameter. They are shown growing in 6 inch containers, however the soil and pot will not be included when shipped. Your choice of one or two plants will be included with each order.
Euphorbia ammak eventually develops a branching, tree-like shape and can reach a height of over 30 feet. It may be grown in bright indirect sunlight (a sunny window will do), partial shade or full sun. It should be planted in soil that drains very well and only watered when the top several inches of soil has dried. Hardy within USDA zones 9b to 11b, this succulent can withstand brief periods of freezing temperatures, however will not survive anything below 25 degrees.
